Avon first developed the concept of the Rigid Inflatable Boat in the early 80s, and since that time RIBs have grown to be a major component of the inflatable boat market. In fact, in recent years, we've sold as many or more rigid hull tenders as traditional collapsible dinghies, which indicates that the concept hasn't just come of age, it's come to prominence.

The Zodiac Cadet-310 R (above) bonds a Zodiac Strongan® skin to a high-quality double deck fiberglass hull. The vee of the Zodiac is slightly shallower than some other boats, which gives it smooth performance in calm water and quickness to plane. Newly-redesigned in 2008, the current version offers a built-in bow storage locker in addition to greater interior space and a larger tube diameter.
The new Zodiac 310 Compact Rib has a fiberglass hull with a fold-down glass transom, allowing you to deflate and store your rigid tender with ease. It's also the lightest ten foot rigid inflatable on the market, at an introductory price that should make it very popular.
Both Zodiac RIBs include seat, pump, repair kit, and oars, along with 5-year warranties and a worldwide range of service stations. |

RIB tenders offer the best compromise between high performance and ease of use. Their solid hulls provide sure footing even in rough harbor chop, and the stiff hull material helps plane the boats up in no time at all.
