 Offshore began in the late 1970’s as a sailing and windsurfing shop in Chicago. Over the years our product lines have shifted and we have migrated to the northern suburbs. Offshore has grown and changed and we are now the largest Chicago-area dealer for high-quality inflatable boats, canoes, and kayaks.
Our focus as a retailer is to do everything we can to pass volume savings on to you. As a result, our merchandising philosophy is to keep it simple, and keep it honest. Our warehouse store isn’t glitzy but the depth and breadth of our inventory and the knowledge of our sales staff will impress you. Offshore’s goal is to help you match boats and hull shapes to your particular usage.
After years in Vernon Hills, we are now in a retail/warehouse facility in Lake Bluff with 3,000 sq feet of retail and storage space. We're located off Route 176 just behind the new Metro Self Storage between I-94 and Route 41 - look for a small sign on Nagel Ct on the north side of Rt. 176 as you approach Metro.
